Find treasures in nooks by hook or crook.

I got myself to the Surry Hills markets last weekend and found a smashing Chanel top for $20:

A button from one of the sleeves was missing and the rest hanging by (their own respective) threads, so I repositioned and re-sewed them all to create some symmetry.

Here is Mister Spare-Button:

Each one has 'Chanel' stamped in metal on the back. This makes me happy.

I have to say the top has given me more pleasure than the recent Chanel Haute Couture show, the bulkiness of which I find not wholly pleasing. Though it is nice to see Baptiste Giabiconi is still working hard for the money:
