Oscars: the best and the best.

Zoe Kravitz's red velvet and touch-pink combination was one of my favourite gowns of the night. The style of the dress was elegant while the colours remained youthful. Perfect.

Cameron hit it out of the park in Oscar de la Renta. Beautiful, Old Hollywood, blah blah blah. She looks like Oscar Barbie and the California babe she is.

I imagine Zoe Saldana's choice will be divisive. Whatever. I think the Givenchy gown is a delicious confection and the perfect end to what has been one of the best set of award-season appearances ever. It's the icing on the cake. The cherry on the knickerbocker glory. The nutell... shall I stop? I think I shall.

A friend suggested that Rachel McAdams in Elie Saab Couture looked like 'a beautiful mountain' and I have to agree. She finally seems to be coming into her own on the red carpet.

I'm including Sam Worthington's girlfriend, Natalie Mark, because I have a feeling she might be wearing J'aton Couture and it would make me really happy to see an Australian design at the Oscars.

I had to include Robert Downey Jnr's absolute betty of a wife, Susan. I don't know who the designer is but I adore the colours and unusual horizontal stripes.

Yes Sam Worthington's girlfriend Natalie is definitely wearing J'Aton - the third year in a row one of their gowns has graced the Oscar's red carpet
